Class Descriptions

GROUP CLASSES (limited to 5-7 dogs):

Pupriety (Puppy Kindergarten) (for puppies 8-22 weeks of age); 5 weeks

In Pupriety, we create special socialization exercises and opportunities to ensure your puppy has the proper and necessary exposure to adults, children and other dogs during this critical developmental period. In addition you will learn the best housetraining techniques, as well as be able to manage play-biting, chewing and jumping. Puppies will learn bite inhibition, as well as “sit,” “down,” “here,” and “give it.” All methods are non-aversive. Puppies will also have fun using puppy agility equipment during confidence building exercises! Enrollment in Pupriety is ongoing, meaning you may start at any time to make sure your puppy begins socializing and training as soon as possible!

Prerequisite: This class is for puppies between 8-22 weeks of age. Puppies must have had their first veterinary exam and vaccinations and continue with the recommended schedule for exam and vaccinations until completed.

Dogs are introduced to simple, easily-negotiated agility obstacles to build confidence. Tricks are taught just for fun! Also taught are "leave it", “back up”, some bridge and target skills as well as a little therapy dog training. This class is designed to enhance communication and honor you and your dog’s relationship.
