For dogs who are 5 months of age and older, we offer an array of small group classes to help build basic obedience skills and discourage common unwanted behaviors.

Refine Your Relationship: Basic Manners is our most popular class, designed to teach you and your dog the skills and behaviors needed to take your dog everywhere! Lessons include loose-leash walking skills with left, right and about turns; "sit stay" and "down stay" with duration and distractions; and "come/here" taught three different ways to help you learn to compete with the environment for your dog’s attention. Dogs are introduced to simple, easily-negotiated agility obstacles to build confidence. Tricks are taught just for fun! Also taught are "leave it", “back up”, some bridge and target skills as well as a little therapy dog training. This class is designed to enhance communication and honor you and your dog’s relationship.

Our Rapid Results classes are just two weeks long and focus on a single, unwanted behavior. These classes are perfect for those who only want help with one behavior or who are unable to commit to a full seven-week course. The Ups and Downs of Jumping focuses on extinguishing jumping up, and No Pulling Around focuses on walking politely on leash.
